Cocoa & Coffee Crawl serves up delicious
Valley City’s downtown was overflowing with activity Saturday, the streets lined with cars and the shops packed with people for the second annual Cocoa and Coffee Crawl, put on by the Valley City Chamber of Commerce.
Kay Vinje, Chamber Executive Vice President shares. “The weather was beautiful, people bustling in and out of the shops, it was a great day for our 2nd annual Cocoa and Coffee Crawl!”
Local businesses that participated in the Cocoa Crawl this year included: Cold Mountain Massage, Blush Boutique, Bongs Bootery, Handy Home & Hardware, Urban Couture,
Eagle’s Nest Bookstore & Gifts, Central Avenue Health Mart Pharmacy, Valley City Tupperware Connection, Dakota Prairie Associates - Thrivent, Alley Beans, North Dakota Winter Show, Valley Officeworks, ARC Thrift-E-Shop & Granny’s Closet, Aesthetica, Lashes by Maddy, Wild Prairie Bakery, Sacred Beings, and Smith Lumber Company.
So many great options with each offering its own spin on the event. Dakota Prairie Associates - Thrivent, for example, served up a cold brew coffee bar, while the ARC ThrifE-Shop took us back in time to the Bridgerton Ball and a hot cocoa mousse; Central Avenue HealthMart served white chocolate hot cocoa, Handy Home and Hardware served a spicy hot chocolate while Aesthetica offered guests a Charcuterie cocoa and coffee bar.
Particpants were giddy with laughter as they traveled the map from one location onto another.
The Chamber board , EVP and staff would like to offer a big thank you to all the participating businesses and patrons who came out to enjoy the event and shop Valley City.
Congratulations goes out to the ARC/ThriftE-Shop for the Best Cocoa/Coffee and also for the Best Display.
