*Barnes County Veterans Service Office Veterans Coffee Hour welcomes BC Veterans to a meet and greet with other area veterans every third Wednesday of the month from 10 a.m.-12 noon. Office is located at 575 10th St SW, Suite #7, Valley City (same building as Sheriff’s Office). Refreshments and treats will be provided. *Barnes County Museum, is open and welcoming visitors from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Saturday, closed on Sundays. • Tri-County Project Activity Day will be held Saturday, January 20th with online registration open to all youth k-12. • Service of Prayer for Christian Unity to be held Sunday, January 21, 3 p.m. Chapel at SMP Health/St. Raphael (979 Central Ave. N., Valley City. The event, sponsored by the Barnes County Ministerial Committee, is free and open to the public. Invites all to join your sibling in faith as we pray for Christian Unity that “the world may believe” (John 17:21). A time of fellowship will follow the service.

• Sheyenne Memory Cafe Event will be held Thursday, January 25, 1-3 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 309 4th St NE, Valley City. If you or someone you love is experiencing memory loss, come to the Memory Cafes in Valley City. It’s a chance for individuals with dementia or early onset Alzheimer’s to connect with others. Caregivers and family members are welcome too.
