Loboes and Raiders compete in Lisbon

Maple River and LaMoure/Litchville­Marion competed at the Lisbon American Legion Track Meet at the Lisbon High School Track and Field Complex.

The Raiders had two first place finishers and 16 place winners. The Loboes had two first place finishers and 26 place winners.

For Maple River, Solomon Burchill was first in the 3200 Meter with a time of 10:53.85. Carly Hovelson was first in the javelin with a throw of 121’8, which beat her state qualifying mark of 117’11 from the Mayville-Portland meet on the 20th of April.

For LaMoure/Litchville-Marion, Gunner Thielges was first in the 110 Meter Hurdles with a time of 16.01 which beat his state qualifying time of 16.24 from the Fargo Elite Meet on the 20th of April. Avery Kramer was first in the triple jump with a jump of 40’6 which was a new personal best for him. Kramer was also 18th in the 100 Meters, and 16th in the long jump.

Other place winners for the Raiders boys, the 4x800 Relay team of Damien Norrie, Trapper Smith, Aksel Satrom, and Solomon Burchill placed second with a time of 9:55.56. Aksel Satrom was third in the 3200 Meter with a time of 13:43.93. Luke Schroeder was fourth in the 110 Meter Hurdles with a time of 19.77. Schroeder was also sixth in the triple jump with a jump of 35’11.5 and sixth in the 300 Meter Hurdles with a time of 49.71. Gavin Besette was eighth in the 300 Meter Hurdles with a time of 54.50. And Dylan Zaun was eighth in the 100 Meter with a time of 12.01.

Other Raiders who competed but did not place, Micah Thompson was 16th in the 800, twelfth in the 1600 Meters and 34th in the long jump. Damien Norrie was 14th in the 400 Meters and 16th in the javelin. Gavin Besette was 21st in the 400 Meters, 26th in the javelin, and 38th in the long jump. Dylan Zaun was 19th in the 400 Meters, 17th in the javelin, and 26th in the long jump. Trapper Smith was 20th in the 400 Meters, Solomon Burchill was 46th in the long jump, and Luke Schroeder was tenth.

As a team the boys scored 37 points placing ninth out of 12 teams.

For the Raider girls place winners, Elizabeth Kleven was second in the 100 Meters with a time of 13.58. She was third in the 200 Meters with a time of 28.48 and seventh in the 100 Meter Hurdles with a time of 22.94. She was also tenth in the 300 Meter Hurdles. Tirzah Burchill was sixth in the 800 Meters and 1600 Meters with times of 2:51.10 and 6:11.63 respective­ly. Carly Hovelson was sixth in the triple jump with a jump of 30’3 and BriElle Killoran was eighth in the high jump with a jump of 4’6. Hovelson was also 37th in the shot put and 32nd in the discus.

Other Raider girls who competed but did not place, Savannah Warren was 29th in the 100 Meter. Mia Fountain was 62nd in the shot put, 55th in the discus, and 34th in the javelin. Gabrielle Satrom was 59th in the shot put, 58th in the discus, and 33rd in the javelin. Claire Ihry was 44th in the shot put, 34th in the discus, tenth in the javelin, and 26th in the long jump. Autumn Rohrbeck was 33rd in the shot put, 40th in the discus, and 28th in the javelin. Aliyah Hannig was 28th in the long jump and eleventh in the triple jump.

As a team, the Maple River girls scored 46 points and were sixth out of eleven teams.

Other place winners for the LaMoure/ Litchville-Marion boys were Gunner Thielges was second in the 100 Meter with a time of 11.54. Brady Pfaff-Christians­on was third in the 800 Meter with a time of 2:12.39 and eighth in the high jump with a jump of 5’2. He was also 24th in the long jump. In the triple jump, Colby Thielges was third with a jump of 37’4.5 and Preston Arndt was seventh with a jump of 35’8.5. Thielges was also 15th in the 100 Meters and Arndt was 26th in the shot put. Jake Kramer was third in the discus with a throw of 134’0. He was also 22nd in the shot put. Max Musland was seventh in the 100 Meter with a time of 11.98. He was also 21st in the long jump. Owen Lesko was seventh in the shot put with a throw of 40’7. He was also ninth in the 100 Meters. The Loboes had four relay teams that placed. In the 4x100, the team of Owen Lesko, Gunner Thielges, Colby Thielges and Max Musland was second with a time of 45.71 which bettered their state qualifying time of 45.72 from earlier in the season on the same track. The team of Arthur Stroh, Cody Briggs, Preston Arndt and Treyce McGaughy placed seventh with a time of 50.05. In the 4x400, the team of Gunner Thielges, Avery Kramer, Brady Pfaff-Christians­on and Owen Lesko placed fourth with a time of 3:55.95 and the team of Preston Arndt, Colby Thielges, Max Musland and Cody Briggs placed sixth with a time of 4:06.75.

Other Loboe boys who competed but did not place individual­ly, Cody Briggs was 24th in the 100 Meters. Tucker Jones was 33rd in the shot put, and 25th in the javelin and Treyce McGaughy was ninth in the long jump.

As a team, the boys scored 71 points and were fourth out of twelve teams.

For the girls, Onika Lesko was third in the 100 Meters, fourth in the 200 Meters, and seventh in the 400 Meters with times of 13.60, 29.07 and 1:07.91 respective­ly. Lulu Loegering was seventh in the 1600 Meters and third in the 3200 Meters with times of 6:14.95 and 13:18.30 respective­ly. Bailie Kelley was eighth in the shot put with a throw of 29’6 and fourth in the high jump with a jump of 4’8. Shew was also eleventh in the javelin. Norah DelaBarre was seventh in the discus with a throw of 92’0 and eighth in the long jump with a jump of 14’10. She was also 15th in the 100 Meters and 14th in the 200 Meters.

Lily Kramer was third in the triple jump with a jump of 31’10. She was also tenth in the long jump. Jada Smith was seventh in the 200 Meters with a time of 29.74. She was also 15th in the 400 meters.

Other girls who competed for the Loboes but did not place, Kenzie Amerman was 16th in the 100 Meters and tenth in the 200 Meters. Julia DelaBarre was 18th in the 1200 Meters, 17th in the shot put, and 44th in the discus. Rhea Haakenson was 64th in the shot put, and 61st in the discus. Michelle Waslaski was 61st in the shot put and 47th in the discus. Emelia Lehr was 53rd in the shot put and 14th in the discus. Alivia Lacina was 28th in the shot put and 17th in the discus. Georgia Lettenmaie­r was 16th in the shot put and eleventh in the high jump. Karyssa Meidinger was twelfth in the shot put, 39th in the discus, and 16th in the javelin. Addie Robbins was 19th in the shot put.

As a team, the Loboe girls scored 38 points and were tied for eighth place out of eleven teams.
