Venerable Beverly Hills eatery Crustacean unveils new look

-

The starry Beverly Hills restaurant has turned a 180, with the bar now in the former dining room and an enlarged patio. There’s an updated, softer pastel color scheme, but the koi fish still swim under the glass floor. New chef Tony Nguyen has introduced fun dishes like tuna “cigars” with a hint of smoke, joining favorites from owner Helene An like the famous garlic noodles and Dungeness crab. An invite- only restaurant, Da Lat Rose, opens upstairs in May.
