Taraji P. Henson is hoping her work in the animated movie will lead to a role as a Disney princess. “I’m trying to hint with the dress,” the “Empire” star said, pointing to her red custom Carolina Herrera. “All I need now is a song!” For now, it’s all about making her debut as the character Yesss in the second “Wreck-it Ralph” film. “I sound as much like myself as possible the first go-round,” she said. “The next movies, I will be giving you some heavy character voices.” Naomi Watts hosted the 14th annual fundraiser for the children’s organization founded by Dr. Jane Aronson. Katie Couric was honored for her work bringing attention to Haiti after the devastating earthquake of 2010, while Larousse Pierre, a survivor of the earthquake who was befriended by Couric and supported by WWO, received the Courage Award. “I was really lucky to meet an American woman named Katie Couric,” Pierre said. “Today I feel no pain. I want to thank Katie Couric, Dr. Jane and WWO for saving my life.”
