HULU THEATER AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN, NEW YORK, NOV. 5

The 12th annual event honoring veterans raised $5.4 million for the Bob Woodruff Foundation. The night marked the start of the New York Comedy Festival, with stand-up sets by Jon Stewart, Seth Meyers, Jim Gaffigan and Jimmy Carr. Bruce Springsteen dueted with his wife Patty Scialfa and country star Eric Church and closed the evening with his classic “Dancing in the Dark.” Gaffigan said everyone who came to perform or support the event “is here for the right reason. There are not two sides here, and that’s very important, particularly in this day and age.”
