Nicholl Fellowships Awards

Ken Jeong, Jamie Chung, Blair Underwood and Lily Collins celebrated the Academy’s five Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting recipients by participating in readings of scenes from the winning screenplays. “You have to have blind faith in order to proceed as a writer,” fellowship committee chair Robin Swicord (“Little Women”) told Variety. “Sometimes that blind faith pays off, and sometimes it takes a little longer than others, so I think that whatever you need to do to cultivate that blind faith, do that.”
