BEVERLY WILSHIRE, BEVERLY HILLS, OCT. 11

Alyssa Milano had to flee her home amid the Woolsey fire, but she was on hand at the ACLU of Southern California’s annual gala to receive the Eason Monroe Courageous Advocate Award for her #Metoo advocacy. “Overall I’m hopeful,” she said. “I’m hopeful that the words ‘Me too’ have always been more than just a testament to our past — they are a prayer for our future. I’m hopeful that these stories won’t be the norm for my daughter’s generation because there will be a new set of expectations for the men of my son’s generation.”
