The move into a home is the microcosm of a move into a community, says Greg Holcomb. How are you going to design your living space? How are you going to live within these walls and express yourself? Now carry those questions out to your community. How are you going to express yourself in your own community? Greg Holcomb and Cassandra Petersen believe that it is attention to community that lifts us all to a higher level — from the individual, to the whole. It can lift us personally, communally, or spiritually. A community that is tended to and cared for will naturally raise the value of the properties and more importantly the overall quality of life for all who reside there.

This is a time of great upheaval and change. It is a chance to tend our gardens, literally and philosophically. After the election of 2016, Greg and Cassandra made a pact to donate to causes close to their hearts after each successful transaction. In 2018 alone, that has added up to over $50,000 in donations to charitable organizations working hard to better the lives of us all. From sitting on charitable boards to organizing fundraisers, Greg and Cassandra believe that by working together we can help to resist the forces that work to keep us apart from one another. It really does take a village, and we all have a part in the creation of the village we live in.
