“Aquaman,” “Vice,” “Roma” premieres; Muse Awards; “To Kill a Mockingbird” opening

The movie’s titular star, Jason Momoa, kicked off the blue carpet with a haka dance. After talking with the media, he told his handler he was headed across the street to meet the fans. Director James Wan recalled seeing Momoa in Aquaman’s goldand-green suit for the first time: “It was incredible because it could have gone either way — it could have been really cool, or it could have been really uncool.” He credits the costume department, special effects and, of course, Momoa for the final look: “We spent a long time making sure it looked good.”
