have been close friends and collaborators for several years. The pair met while assisting Gaga’s previous stylists, Brandon Maxwell and Nicola Formichetti. Now at the helm, they’ve been outfitting the “A Star Is Born” actress in showstopping looks throughout awards season. “We definitely approached each event independently, although there was an element of romanticism in each,” note Eerebout and Amador, who responded together for this story. “We do think of the overall aesthetic and just try to keep doing the unexpected.”

“This custom Valentino gown was so special,” they says about Gaga’s Globes look. “We had our eyes set on the blue couture look and thought the color was so unique and rich — it was unlike any color we had done on a red carpet before and that was exciting for us. Pierpaolo [Piccioli] did such an incredible job of reimagining the runway look into something very magical and suited for Gaga.” The color also inspired her monochromatic blue makeup and cerulean blue highlights. They finished things off with $5 million in Tiffany & Co. diamonds, including the Tiffany Aurora necklace — made with more than 300 brilliant diamonds and a 20-carat pear-shaped central stone. The piece, named after the goddess of dawn and a cluster of stars, nodded to the film.

After taking home a Globe for her original song “Shallow,” Gaga tied with “The Wife’s” Glenn Close for lead actress at the Critics’ Choice Awards. Eerebout and Amador also considered it a win on the fashion front: “The pale pink Calvin Klein by Appointment was so elegant and gave just enough drama after the Globes. She looked gorgeous and proved that minimalism can still make a statement.” They completed the look with Djula’s 10-carat diamond studs, lace-up platform boots from Giuseppe Zanotti and a soft beauty approach. “The whole Haus of Gaga is so fun to work with, as it is a full-on collaboration together with Sarah Tanno and Frederic Aspiras, who do her makeup and hair. We all grew up in this industry together and are a family.”

“We were so excited for Paris Couture Week and knew we wanted to highlight a new design from the runway for SAG,” Eerebout and Amador explain. “The minute we saw the white Dior gown we were stunned and thought it would be perfect for the event.” They accessorized the frayed-edge taffeta gown designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri with Jimmy Choo pumps and pieces from Tiffany’s 2019 Blue Book Collection: a yellow gold choker with diamond stars and butterfly-like earrings. “The gold Tiffany’s jewelry, which had never been seen before, really complemented the look and gave it a modern and playful twist,” note the duo, who’ll next be styling the nominee for the Oscars. “We truly love what we do and we’re fortunate we get to do it together.”
