The Ever Bar celebrates Oscar nominees with special drinks

The Academy Awards cocktail menu returns to Ever Bar at the Kimpton Everly Hotel with imaginative takes on the nominees. Beverage director Dan Rook’s lineup includes the Roma, with horchata, mezcal and coffee and chile liqueurs, served in a Mexican Coke bottle; the Black Panther, featuring gin, brandy, white rum, pineapple juice and butterfly pea flower-infused vanilla that gives the drink a vibranium glow; the Blackkklansman, topped with Cocoa Krispies in the shape of an Afro in a police-emblazoned mug; and the Vice, served in a heart-shaped vessel.

Ever Bar’s Oscar cocktails include the Bohemian Rhapsody, with vodka, lime juice and orgeat and garnished with a mustache and sunglasses.
