‘Ghosted’ Premiere

Chris Evans has saved the world (and even the universe) multiple times as Captain America. But in the new action rom-com, it’s Ana de Armas who’s doing the rescuing. In the Dexter Fletcher-directed movie, Evans plays Cole, a hopeless romantic who tries to woo Sadie (de Armas) after she ghosts him, only to discover she’s a CIA agent. “It was nice to be the damsel in distress,” Evans told Variety. “It was nice to need saving — primarily because I didn’t have to sweat during the action sequences.” This is the actors’ third film together, following “Knives Out” and “The Gray Man.” De Armas said, “With Chris, it’s always been like, I hate him or I’m going after him or shooting at him, and this one was very much the dynamic that we have in real life.”
