Featuring unseen footage, the two-part doc spans the iconic comedian’s early days, explosive rise and current career. Oscar winner Morgan Neville (“20 Feet From Stardom”) directs.
3 Girls State APPLE TV+ | APRIL 5
A sequel to Jesse Moss and Amanda Mcbaine’s Emmywinning documentary “Boys State,” the film centers on teen girls in Missouri participating in an experiment to build a model government from scratch.
4 Project Artemis
SONY | JULY 12 IN THEATERS Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum lead an ensemble cast that includes Ray Romano and Woody Harrelson in the space racerom-com. The film marks TV producer Greg Berlanti’s first big-budget foray as a film director.
5 Wolfs SONY | SEPT. 20 IN THEATERS
It’s an “Ocean’s” reunion, with George Clooney and Brad Pitt playing lone-wolf fixers in a slick thriller directed by Jon Watts (“Spiderman: Homecoming”). The two stars also produce.
6 Fancy Dance 2024
Apple is back in business with “Killers of the Flower Moon”star Lily Gladstone, who plays a woman searching for answers following her sister’s disappearance. Erica Tremblay directs. It’s unclear if the film will be released on Apple TV+ or in theaters; a launch date is to be determined.
