- By Jazz Tangcay

Celebrities from entertainment and media, fashion and lifestyle, business and technology and sports and gaming have landed on Gold House’s inaugural New Gold list for ‹ ‹•.

The New Gold list was introduced in ‹ ‹Œ when “Ms. Marvel” star Iman Vellani received the New Gold Award. The list recognizes rising leaders who will redefine the canon for the Asian Pacific community.

For ‹ ‹•, the list includes singer Laufey, who recently enlisted A honoree and “Past Lives” director Celine Song for her short film to accompany her latest release, “Goddess.”

Ateez, who made history as the first K-pop boy band to headline Coachella, also made the list as did “Ahsoka” actor Natasha Liu Bordizzo. Bordizzo played Sabine in the Disney+ series, bringing the animated character from “Star Wars: Rebels” to life. Bordizzo’s Sabine became the talk of the Star Wars universe when her Jedi status was confirmed.

On the business side, Ziad Ahmed and Shaina Zafar are leading up the UTA Next Gen division, which falls under the agency’s entertainment marketing division. Earlier this year, the company snapped up Ahmed and Zafar’s company JUV, which was established in ‹ ¦, and has worked with brands such as Unilever and E.l.f. Beauty on Gen Z outreach. The pair had earned accolades for their approach to marketing to that younger demographic.

Also on the list is New York designer Kim Shui, whose designs have caught the attention of Bella Hadid, Kiko Mizuhara, Blackpink’s Lisa, Dua Lipa, SZA and others.

Rounding out the New Gold list are Steven Lee (partner at SV Angel), Zohreen Shah (ABC News correspondent), pro soccer player Alyssa Thompson and golfer Rose Zhang.
