THE SUN SHINES brightly in Texas, turning cool canopies into decadent design triumphs—and brilliant opportunities to marry architecture with the natural world. “I wanted to do something more traditional that would fit with the Georgian vernacular,” says designer Robin Henry, whose poolside geranium pink-and-white tent beckons with cozy furniture and a glass lantern. Henry outfitted the terrace between the pool and house with a breezy mix of rattan furniture, including vintageinspired loungers and woven wicker stools with custom terry cushions.
