Eveningwear’s wild new frontier is the focus of “Come As You Are” (page 136), in which inventive silhouettes and lots of color are the order of the day.

For the shoot, Autumn de Wilde—who turns up in “Screen Tests” (page 146), a preview of “In America: An Anthology of Fashion” at the Metropolitan Museum of Art—photographed a gaggle of models and artists including, from left, King Owusu, Akon Changkou, Luca Biggs, Anson Boon, Earl Cave, Poppy Delevingne, Kesewa Aboah, and Jan Baiboon. “Friendship means everything right now,” says fashion editor Amanda Harlech, “and even when we wrapped, on a cold, damp February night somewhere far north of London, we discovered such warmth, such kindness. We didn’t want the party to end.”
