When it comes to luxury living, there’s nothing quite like getting treated like a VIP, 24-7. Five-star hotels are known for their top-flight service and amenities, and when hotel hospitality meets posh pied-àterre, you end up with one enviable place to live. With Waikiki’s ever-burgeoning upscale real estate market, plans to build The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach are in full swing. Projected to be completed in 2016, the tony 37-story high rise—“comprised of 324 residences ranging from studios to three-bedrooms and penthouses”—will be located near Luxury Row. “The Residences will further secure Waikiki’s position as a world-class destination providing full- and part-time residents, as well as visitors, with all the legendary services and amenities they have come to expect of The Ritz-Carlton brand,” says developer Jason Grosfeld of Pacrep, LLC. Speaking of amenities, resident facilities include a full-service spa with adult-only spa pool, an ocean-view restaurant and bar, gourmet market and café, as well as a fitness center with sauna and steam rooms.
