EDUCATION Walker County Schools will have pre-kindergarten registration for students that have received prek placement at Gilbert, Naomi, North LaFayette and Rock Spring Elementary schools from 8:30 a.m-4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29 and Thursday, Aug. 30, at the Walker County Board of Education, 201 S. Duke Street, LaFayette. Parents must bring the student’s birth certificate and proof of Georgia residency for registration.
