ENTERTAINMENT The Chattanooga Film Society (CFS) and the Mise En Scenesters (MES) are pleased to announce their collaboration in presenting the POV Summer Film Series from June through September. The series winds down Monday, Sept. 10, with the screening of “Reportero” at 6:30 p.m. at the downtown Chattanooga YMCA on 301 West 6th Street. The film follows a veteran reporter and his colleagues at Zeta, a Tijuana-based independent newsweekly as they stubbornly ply their trade in one of the deadliest places in the world for members of the media. COMMUNITY Oakwood Baptist Church will present Financial Peace University with Dave Ramsey. Financial Peace University (FPU) is a 9-week program that teaches a common sense, biblical approach to handling money. Classes begin Monday, Sept. 10, and run every Monday night for nine weeks through Nov. 5. Classes start at 6:30 p.m. and end at 8 p.m. at Oakwood ‘s Gateway Campus, 4031 Cloud Springs Rd (inside Gateway Mall), in Fort Oglethorpe. Registration will be held Monday, Aug. 20, at 6:30 p.m., and Monday, Aug. 27, at 6:30 p.m. at the Gateway Campus (4031 Cloud Springs Road) of Oakwood Baptist Church off I-75 in the Ringgold-Fort Oglethorpe area.
