Sylvia Brandon Blansit, 69 Summervill­e

Sylvia Brandon Blansit, of Summervill­e, Ga., passed away Friday, Aug. 12, 2016, at Redmond Regional Medical Center. She was 69.

Mrs. Blansit was born in Winchester, Tenn., Oct. 17, 1946, the only daughter of Rev. Douglas Brandon and Lucille Denton Brandon.

She was a member of Berryton Baptist Church where she was the Christmas play director for many years.

She retired as a machine operator from American Rug Mill.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Blansit was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Skinner.

Survivors include: Her husband, Waymon Blansit; son, Wayne (Kathy) Blansit; daughter, Kelly (Kyle) Price; son-in-law, Brad Skinner; her grandchild­ren, Tailor Barrett, Tristan and Kayla Price, Terran Skinner, Brandon Skin- ner and Jana Price.

Visitation: Sunday, Aug. 14, from 5-8 p.m. at Coffman Funeral Home.

Funeral service: Monday, Aug. 15, at 11 a.m. in Berryton Baptist Church with Rev. Mickey Skates and Rev. Kevin Norton officiatin­g.

Pallbearer­s: Tristan Price, Josh Bryan, Brandon Skinner, Chad Barnes, Ronnie Croy, Brandon Croy, Jonathan Roberts, Josh Bennett and Brad Skinner.

Honorary pallbearer­s: Ladies Sunday School Class of Berryton Baptist Church.

Burial: West Hill Cemetery.
