Evelyn Houston, 72 Chickamauga

Evelyn Houston, of Chickamauga, passed away Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016. She was 72.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Ray and Elva Dellinger Pursley; sister, JoNell Terry and brother, Bobby Pursley.

Survivors include: Her loving husband, Larry Houston of Chickamauga; daughter, Brooke (Charlie) Roberts, of Lawrenceville, Ga.; sons, Scott (Hope) McAndrew of San Antonio, Texas, and Jeff Houston of Birmingham, Ala.; sisters, Elaine (Laverne) Brown, Brenda Hoffman, and Betty (Larry) Rankin; grandchildren, Emily and Cory Hume and Sydney and Sawyer

Roberts and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Saturday, Aug. 20, from 1 p.m. until service time at the church.

Memorial service: Saturday, Aug. 20, at 4 p.m. at Peavine Baptist Church with Pastor Terry Burns officiating.
