Area Chevy dealers hosting FREE baseball clinic in LaFayette

Your Tennessee Valley and North Georgia Chevy Dealers Provide Free Youth Baseball Instructional Clinic

This Saturday, April 15, your Tennessee Valley and North Georgia Chevy Dealers will host a free instructional clinic for youth baseball players in the LaFayette area. Coached by Ripken Baseball, participants will learn the essentials of hitting, fielding, and throwing.

The clinic is one of nearly 200 Chevrolet is hosting this year as part of the Chevrolet Youth Baseball Program. Chevrolet has sponsored free, public baseball clinics for children across the country since 2006.

The event will be held at LaFayette Municipal Park (Field 2) at 638 South Main Street. Check-in will take place from 8-8:45 a.m. There will be clinic rotations from 9 a.m.-12 noon, followed by a snack.

Spots will fill on a first-come, first-served basis, and registration will close two days before the clinic date.

The register online, go to youthsportsclinics.com, click the blue “Register Now” button and select “Chattanooga” in the drop-down menu. Enter the password “playball” (all lowercase, no spaces) and click “Submit”. Then click “Register Now” for desired session and enter registration information. Click “Add Attendee” on the next screen to add players.

Click the blue “Complete Registration” button at the end of the page to submit you registration and don’t forget to download the waiver (from the website or your confirmation e-mail). Each child must have a completed waiver to participate.
