Linda Ann Robinson, 72, Hixson, Tenn.

Linda Ann Robinson, of Hixson, Tenn., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 29, 2017, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was 72.

Mrs. Robinson was a native of Fort Payne, Ala. and was born on July 27, 1944, to the late William and Elizabeth Lambert. She had moved to Houston, Texas in 2002 and later returned to Hixson, Tenn. to be with her family.

She worked with Dixie Industrial Coating in Chattanoog­a in the Quality Control department.

She was of the Baptist faith and deeply loved her Lord and family. Everyone who knew her could see her devotion to her family and to her faith.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, William Douglas Robinson; daughter, Teresa Baxter; brothers, JC and Edward Lee Lambert and sisters, Sylvia Gillespie, Gladys Smith and Faye Gobles.

Survivors include: her companion, Dan Cooper; grandchild­ren, Nicole Taney, Aaron Ledwell, Melody Kelley and Jessica Baxter; greatgrand­children, Jalan Ledwell, Julian Church, Jalicia Ledwell and Daesheun Ledwell; brothers, Harold and Ray Lambert; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, in the South Crest Chapel.

Funeral services: will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 2, in the South Crest Chapel with Reverend Craig Westbrook officiatin­g.

Burial: will be held at Chattanoog­a National Cemetery on Monday, June 6, at 11:30 a.m.
