BUSINESS ·The Georgia Department of Labor’s LaFayette Career Center will help ResCare HomeCare, Inc., a nursing and residentia­l care company, recruit 15 employees to work in private homes in Catoosa and Walker counties. The company is recruiting certified nursing assistants (CNAs), personal care givers, sitters and homemakers. All applicants must be at least 18 years old. Training will be provided, so no previous work experience is necessary. The recruitmen­t will be held on Thursday, June 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the career center located at 200 West Villanow St. in LaFayette. A similar recruitmen­t for the company was held on May 4. COMMUNITY · A fun-filled week for students ages 6-12 is being offered at The Colonnade in Ringgold. Art Camp runs June 2630 during the hours of 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. each day. Campers are to bring a sack lunch, with their name on it, and the camp will provide snacks and beverages. The cost is $150 per camper. Early drop off is available, beginning at 7:30 a.m. for an additional $25. Late pick up, up to 5:30 p.m., is available for an additional $25. Program is limited to the first 100 students to register.
