Kimberly Jo Croft, 47, Fort Oglethorpe

Kimberly Jo Croft, of Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., went home to be with the Lord on June, 3, 2017. She was 47.

Kimberly graduated from Lakeview High School in 1988 before earning a Master’s from UTC in Early Childhood Education. She worked with the Catoosa County School System for 24 years, most recently as a Special Education Teacher at Heritage Middle School, making an impact in children’s lives and fulfilling her life’s work.

She loved spending time with her family, was looking forward to future grandchild­ren and could always find comfort from her dogs, Buddy and Max.

She was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church in Chickamaug­a.

Survivors include: her daughter, Megan Croft; son, Aaron (Kandace) Croft; parents, Tommy and Margaret Brown, James Croft and “Sister” Karen Wiggins.

Visitation: The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4-8:00 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel.

Funeral services: will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Tony Wilson officiatin­g.

Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
