CHURCH · Lyerly United Methodist, across from the Lyerly School at 105 Oak Hill Road, will hold Vacation Bible School on Saturday, June 24, from 10 a.m. unitl 3 p.m. All children are invited — there are no age limits — and each child will experience adventures including bible fun, great music, science lab and cool crafts, A hotdog lunch will beserved at noon and snack will be given out before they leave for the day. COMMUNITY · Mega Auto Designs, from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. on June 24, presents Truck Shown-Shine for Wesley Weaver in his Fight Against Cancer. This event is being held at 9246 N. This free outdoor event will take place at the municipal park at 638 South Main St., just south of downtown LaFayette.
