Dor­ton Lee Har­ris, 60, Rossville

Dor­ton Lee Har­ris, of Rossville, Ga., passed away Thurs­day, June 8, 2017, at his res­i­dence. He was 60.

A na­tive and life­long res­i­dent of the north Ge­or­gia area, Mr. Har­ris was a vet­eran of the U.S. Army and was a self-em­ployed roofer. He en­joyed play­ing the gui­tar, fish­ing, and spend­ing time with his fam­ily. Dor­ton was of the Bap­tist faith and was pre­ceded in death by his par­ents, Al­bert Dor­ton and Anna Marie Har­ris; son, Steven Cantrell and one sis­ter.

Sur­vivors in­clude: his wife, Robin Mines; sons, Danny (Vanassa) Lynn, Jef­fery Lynn and Paul (Kelly) Cantrell; daugh­ters, Robin Har­ris and Danielle Shook; daugh­ter-in-law, Holly Cantrell; step-chil­dren, Jed, Joe and Deanna Holt; grand­chil­dren, Paul Cantrell, III, James Cantrell, Jas­mine Cantrell, Alexis Lynn, Ki­ley Cantrell, Hayley Perkins, Dar­ian Lynn, Ari­anne Lynn, Roger Lee Cantrell, Danny Lynn, Jr., Daniel Lynn, Alan Ram­sey, Laney and Eli Jones; great­grand­son, Ma­son Cantrell.

Vis­i­ta­tion: The fam­ily will re­ceive friends Tues­day from 4-8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel.

Fu­neral ser­vices: will be held Wed­nes­day, June 14, at 1:30 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with burial to fol­low in the Chat­tanooga Na­tional Ceme­tery with full mil­i­tary hon­ors.
