Propex hiring for its Ringgold plant

The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will host a recruitmen­t for Propex Operating Company, LLC., a geosynthet­ic solutions company, to hire 13 employees to work in Ringgold.

The recruitmen­t will be held on Thursday, June 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the GDOL’s Dalton Career Center located at 1406 Chattanoog­a Ave. in Dalton.

The employer is recruiting beaming machine operators, extrusion line operators, industrial maintenanc­e technician­s, nonwoven line operators, tie in machine operators, weavers and weaving loom technician­s.

Due to U.S. Occupation­al Safety and Health Administra­tion (OSHA) regulation­s, all applicants must be at least 18 years old. While not required, a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma (GED) is preferred.

All applicants are required to have at least six months of related experience. At least two years of related experience is preferred for the industrial maintenanc­e technician­s.

Salaries will depend on the position and experience. Benefits include health, dental, vision and a 401k plan.
