including an RBI-triple by Clark. McElhaney finished with two RBIs, as did Emma Minghini, while Reagan Thompson had one RBI.

Back at home on Thursday, the Lady Trojans led 3-0 after two innings before plating five runs in the bottom of the fifth to pull away.
Gordon Lee had 13 hits in the game,
including three each by Burnett and Minghini. Both players also drove in two runs. McElhaney and Alexander went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs, while Thompson drove in one run.
Minghini, the freshman, scattered six hits and gave up just one earned run in seven innings. She fanned
six and did not walk a single batter. She threw just 70 pitches with a remarkable 62 going for strikes.
Gordon Lee 8, Bowdon 0
In the finals, the topranked Lady Trojans squared off with the third-ranked Lady Red Devils and built
a comfortable 4-0 lead after three innings before four more runs in the sixth inning ended the contest on the run rule. It marked Gordon Lee’s third win over the Lady Red Devils this season by a combined 23-0.
Grimes homered and drove in three runs in a 2-for-3 performance
at the plate. Alexander recorded a pair of doubles, scored twice and knocked in two runs, while Clark was 2-for-3 with a run scored and two RBIs.
Burnett threw six innings to get the win in the circle. She allowed just three hits and pair of walks with three strikeouts.
