Friends of the LaFayette-Walker County Library suggest marking your calendars for MOCK TALES 2018 on Saturday, Aug. 4 at the library. This adults only event takes place at 7 p.m. and features a silent auction, appetizers and desserts along with live jazz music.

“This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and all the monies raised goes to programs and services needed at the library throughout the year,” Friends President Rachel Oesch Willeford said. “We have lots of volunteers working throughout the year to make the event a success but we need the community to support the event by buying tickets, donating auction items and, most importantly, coming to the event.”

This year, raffle tickets are available for a brand new Roper stove and a brand new big screen television.

The $1 tickets can be purchased now through the event at the library’s circulation desk.
