Mocs to implement new clear bag policy at Finley Stadium

-

In an effort to enhance spectator safety and align with national best-practices, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Athletics Department is implementing a clear bag policy for home games at Finley Stadium during the 2018 season.

“The safety of our fans is of utmost importance to us,” stated UTC Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Mark Wharton. “It is already mandatory in the SEC and the NFL and we felt like it was an initiative that needed to be put in place at Finley Stadium.

Those who purchase football season tickets will receive a free Mocs Clear Bag to use throughout the year. This bag will be delivered with the 2018 season tickets in August.

Fans are allowed to bring in one plastic, vinyl or PVC clear bag that does not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” to home games at Finley Stadium.

Prohibited items include large purses, large totes, non-clear or printed totes, duffel bags, drawstring bags, backpacks, fanny packs and camera bags.
