The Lady Mustangs traveled to Trion for a league match that same night and quickly fell behind 2-0 in the first five minutes.

However, a Cora Lanier goal late in the first half cut the Lady Bulldogs’ lead to 2-1 at intermission and Lanier assisted on a pair of Lexi Underwood goals in the second half to make it a 3-3 game.

Unfortunately for the Navy-and-Red, Trion was awarded and converted a penalty kick with seven minutes to play, which turned out to be the game-winner.

Tamra Yancy made nine saves for Saddle Ridge, while Maddie Underwood, Caylah Plank, Ella Ferry, Alyssa Ball and Della Harris were named as defensive standouts.
