Claire Brumfield (Ringgold) — The sophomore was one of the fastest runners and most consistent runners for the Lady Tigers all year, including a season-best 23:57 at the Grove Level course in Dalton and a 24:06 at the Region 6-3A meet in LaFayette.
Mia Callahan (Heritage) — The dependable senior capped a great career for the Lady Generals with five top 20 finishes, including an eighth-place showing at LaFayette (23:10) and a 13th-place finish at the Region 7-4A meet (22:42) to help her team qualify for state.
Piper Collins (Heritage) — The freshman for the Navy-and-Red had an immediate impact for the varsity squad, including a ninth-place showing at the Rambler Invitational in LaFayette (23:34) and a top 20 finish at the region meet (23:09).
Tori Epps (Heritage) — After an outstanding middle school career, the first-year prep runner became a mainstay in the Lady Generals’ lineup, placing second at the Rambler Invitational (22:04) and 10th at the Region 7-4A meet (22:31).
Reagan Pitts (Ringgold) — A steady performer for the Blue-and-White, the senior enjoyed a season-best time of 23:52 to place 11th at the Rambler Invitational, and she went on to break 25 minutes in each of her last three high school races.
Mady Raye Terry (Heritage) — Another multi-year starter for the Lady Generals, the senior had a top 20 (25:02) at the Rambler Invitational and turned in a season-best 24:37 at the Region 7-4A Championships on her own home course.
Naomi Thompson (LaFayette) — The Lady Ramblers’ rookie established herself as a consistent performer early in the season and maintained it, finishing third at the Walker County Championships (23:49) and fifth at the Region 6-3A meet (23:04).
