The old established general store conducted by Brorein Bros. at Buckland and operated by the Brorein family for many years, has been purchased by Mr. I. E. Blackburn., formerly of Ripley, Ohio, and is now in charge of the new proprietor. The new proprietor has had a number of years of experience at his former place of residence and comes to the Buckland community with splendid recommendations as to business ability and honesty of dealing. In an announcement made to the people of that community and to the patrons of the store, he states that hereafter the business of the store will be conducted on a strictly cash basis and that by selling for cash he will be able to sell for a lesser prize. He also announces that Messrs. Arthur Chrisman and Wilbur Schultz, who have been connected with the establishment, will remain with the new owner.
