Lima Memorial to start next set of vaccinatio­ns

Beginning Tuesday, January 19, Lima Memorial Health System will begin administer­ing the COVID-19 vaccine to individual­s ages 80 and older as part of the state’s Phase 1B rollout plan. Vaccines will be administer­ed according to the Ohio Department of Health’s timeline. No exceptions can be made.

Appointmen­ts can be scheduled beginning Friday, January 15 at 9 a.m. Individual­s ages 80 and older can call 419-998-4491 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday to schedule their vaccine or visit limamemori­al. org/vaccine to request an appointmen­t.

Lima Memorial Health System will offer the COVID-19 vaccine by appointmen­t at Lima Memorial Health System’s main campus Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. A second vaccinatio­n clinic will be located at the Lima Memorial Medical Park with appointmen­ts offered Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Initial vaccine supply will be limited and distribute­d on a first-come-first-serve basis. This schedule is subject to change based on vaccine availabili­ty. An appointmen­t is required to receive the vaccine.
