strenuousness of a Thanksgiving dinner and a football game were evidently too much for the fans for one day. There was no game.

The home of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Herman, 611 West Mechanic Street, is one of the five homes to be visited on the Christmas Tour of Homes on December 5. The tour is sponsored by the Junior Service League. This large gracious home was built in 1914 by Theodore Tangeman, who lived there until 1935. The Hermans purchased the home in 1949, and it was used both for home and office until 1961. At that time the office space was remodeled and made into a large family room. The kitchen has been updated, but the original beveled glass

entrance door, dark oak woodwork, and original fireplace have been retained. Yule Decorating was done by Flowers by Dudley.
