Raymond C. Woolum, 57

Raymond C. ‘Ray’ Woolum, 57, of Wapakoneta, passed away

at 6:14 p.m., Friday, November 26, 2021 at his residence.

He was born on September 17, 1964 in Plain City, OH to Benjamin and Bernice (Spottedhorse) Woolum who preceded him in death.

Survivors include four children: Benjamin Woolum, Courtney Woolum, Cassandra Woolum, all of Wapakoneta, Joseph Traylor, of CA; two sisters: Sharon Moles, Leta (Virgil) Poppelman; three brothers: Benjamin (Rhonda)

Woolum, John (Pam) Woolum, William ‘Bill’ Woolum.

Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Lynne Woolum;

sister, Denise Caulley; and a brother-in-law, Timothy ‘Tim’ Moles.

Raymond was a 1982 graduate of Southwestern High

School. He then enlisted in the U.S. Navy from 1983-1989 as an electronic engineer.

He was a member I.B.E.W. Local 32 and U.A.W. Local 2075. He was currently employed at General Dynamics since 2008. He was also a member of

the Standing Rock

Sioux Reservation of South Dakota.

He loved watching football always rooting for the Cleveland Browns and was an avid hunter. He especially loved spending time with his children.

Memorial services will begin at 6 p.m., Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Jon Braunstein officiating.

Military rites will follow the service performed by the V.F.W. Post 8445.

Family and friends may call from 5 p.m., until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation.
