Raymond C. ‘Ray’ Woolum, 57, of Wapakoneta, passed away

at 6:14 p.m., Friday, November 26, 2021 at his residence.

He was born on September 17, 1964 in Plain City, OH to Benjamin and Bernice (Spottedhor­se) Woolum who preceded him in death.

Survivors include four children: Benjamin Woolum, Courtney Woolum, Cassandra Woolum, all of Wapakoneta, Joseph Traylor, of CA; two sisters: Sharon Moles, Leta (Virgil) Poppelman; three brothers: Benjamin (Rhonda)

Woolum, John (Pam) Woolum, William ‘Bill’ Woolum.

Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Lynne Woolum;

sister, Denise Caulley; and a brother-in-law, Timothy ‘Tim’ Moles.

Raymond was a 1982 graduate of Southweste­rn High

School. He then enlisted in the U.S. Navy from 1983-1989 as an electronic engineer.

He was a member I.B.E.W. Local 32 and U.A.W. Local 2075. He was currently employed at General Dynamics since 2008. He was also a member of

the Standing Rock

Sioux Reservatio­n of South Dakota.

He loved watching football always rooting for the Cleveland Browns and was an avid hunter. He especially loved spending time with his children.

Memorial services will begin at 6 p.m., Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Jon Braunstein officiatin­g.

Military rites will follow the service performed by the V.F.W. Post 8445.

Family and friends may call from 5 p.m., until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributi­ons may be directed to the Standing Rock Sioux Reservatio­n.
