Sharlene W. Bault, 63

Sharlene W. Bault, 83, of Wapakoneta died 11:14 a.m., Friday, Dec. 24, 2021, at her home following a short illness.

She was born June 29, 1938, in Auglaize Co., the daughter of Robert & Lois (Buffenbarger) Wallace, who preceded her in death.

On June 13, 1957, she married Thomas H. Bault, and he died March 15, 2014. She was also preceded in death by a son Michael, who passed away in Aug. 2021, and a brother Gary, who passed away in June 2020.

Survivors include two sons, David W. (Susan), Maineville, OH, and Thomas C. (Kim), New Braunfels, TX, a daughter-in-law, Shirley, Caledonia, MI, and 6 grandchildren, Sara, Allison, Mitchell, Tyler, Christian, and Lauren.

Sharlene worked as a case worker for the Auglaize Co. Jobs and Family Services, retiring after 15 years of service. She was a 1956 graduate of Waynesfield-goshen High School, and attended Edison State University.

Sharlene was an active member of First United Methodist Church, Wapakoneta, and was affiliated with the Cancer Association of Auglaize County, and former member of the Wapakoneta Country Club.

She was an avid fan of the Wapakoneta Redskins as well as The Ohio State Buckeyes. The loves of her life next to her family, included working in the yard and attending her Church Life Group meetings.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 22, 2021, at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta, with Pastor Josh Tissot officiating.

Burial of her cremated remains will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 21, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Frist United Methodist

Church or the Cancer Association of Auglaize County.
