James E. “Jimbo” Rumple, 67, of Wapakoneta, died 5:49 p.m., Tues. Nov. 8, 2022, at Lima Memorial Health System, surrounded by his family. He was born Feb. 16, 1955, in Celina, OH, the son of the late Harvey “Ed” & Ada Jane (Hook) Rumple. Survivors include,2 children, Jennifer (Eddy) Mcclain, Ryan Rumple, both of Wapakoneta; grandchild­ren, Brett (Hannah) Felver, Jordan (Stephen) Fleck, Jaclynn Felver, Jessica Felver, Harley Rumple, Thomas (Autumn) Rumple, Aleaha Rumple, Collin Rumple; great grandchild­ren, hazel Felver, Adalicia Flaute, Kaylum Hines, and soon to be, Sawyer Rumple; siblings, jane (Dale) Heyd, La Moure, ND, Jacki (Paul) Hazelton, Wapakoneta, Joe (Brenda) Rumple, Wapakoneta, Jeff (Kris) Rumple, Hicksville, OH; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Rumple, Bryan, OH; numerous nieces & nephews, former wife, Susan Rumple.in addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers. John Rumple, and Michael “Jike” Pursell. Jim owned and operated J & S Roofing. He was a former member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Aerie #691, and a member of the Amvets Post #333, both of Wapakoneta. Jim enjoyed watching old westerns, jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with his grandchild­ren. Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m., Mon. Nov. 14, 2022, at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta, with his brother-in-law, Pastor Paul Hazelton officiatin­g.
