Two Local Arrests a Result of Grand Lake Task Force Investigation
January 10, 2023: The Grand Lake
Task Force* received information that a 19-year-old male from Pioneer, Ohio, was wanted by authorities in Williams County, Ohio, for a Failure to Appear warrant, and that the suspect may be in the Wapakoneta area.
The Task Force was able to locate the suspect, Mr. Cooper Rademacher, while he was driving, and coordinated with the Wapakoneta Police Department to pursue a traffic stop. During the stop, the Wapakoneta Police K9 Unit was deployed and alerted officers of the odor of drugs in the vehicle. The vehicle was searched and investigators and officers located counterfeit checks, counterfeit money, counterfeit drugs, and a handgun. Mr. Cooper was placed into custody without incident.
The investigation extended from the traffic stop to a nearby hotel. Once at the hotel, investigators made contact with Andrea Rinderle, 22 yrs. old from Celina, Ohio. Ms. Rinderle had an outstanding warrant from Mercer County for her arrest. She was also placed into custody without incident.
While continuing the investigation at the hotel, investigators located additional counterfeit checks, counterfeit money, counterfeit drugs, and suspected methamphetamines.
Mr. Cooper was transported to the Auglaize County Correctional Center on charges of Weapons Under Disability and given a bond of $100,000/10%.
Ms. Rinderle was transported to the Mercer County Correctional Center with a warrant for a probation violation.
The investigation is still in its early stages with the potential for further charges and arrests.
The Wapakoneta Police Department and the Auglaize County Sheriff's Office assisted with this investigation.
