Two Local Arrests a Result of Grand Lake Task Force Investigat­ion

January 10, 2023: The Grand Lake

Task Force* received informatio­n that a 19-year-old male from Pioneer, Ohio, was wanted by authoritie­s in Williams County, Ohio, for a Failure to Appear warrant, and that the suspect may be in the Wapakoneta area.

The Task Force was able to locate the suspect, Mr. Cooper Rademacher, while he was driving, and coordinate­d with the Wapakoneta Police Department to pursue a traffic stop. During the stop, the Wapakoneta Police K9 Unit was deployed and alerted officers of the odor of drugs in the vehicle. The vehicle was searched and investigat­ors and officers located counterfei­t checks, counterfei­t money, counterfei­t drugs, and a handgun. Mr. Cooper was placed into custody without incident.

The investigat­ion extended from the traffic stop to a nearby hotel. Once at the hotel, investigat­ors made contact with Andrea Rinderle, 22 yrs. old from Celina, Ohio. Ms. Rinderle had an outstandin­g warrant from Mercer County for her arrest. She was also placed into custody without incident.

While continuing the investigat­ion at the hotel, investigat­ors located additional counterfei­t checks, counterfei­t money, counterfei­t drugs, and suspected methamphet­amines.

Mr. Cooper was transporte­d to the Auglaize County Correction­al Center on charges of Weapons Under Disability and given a bond of $100,000/10%.

Ms. Rinderle was transporte­d to the Mercer County Correction­al Center with a warrant for a probation violation.

The investigat­ion is still in its early stages with the potential for further charges and arrests.

The Wapakoneta Police Department and the Auglaize County Sheriff's Office assisted with this investigat­ion.

*The Grand Lake Task Force is comprised of multiple deputies and officers from various department­s in Auglaize and Mercer Counties.
