Lois M. Wilges, 90, of Buckland, OH died 6:05 a.m., Mon. Sept. 18, 2023, at The Springs of Lima.

She was born Feb. 6, 1933, in Wapakoneta, the daughter of the late Edward and Helen (Carter) Veit. On Dec. 27, 1951, she married Dale E. Wilges, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 31, 2020.

Survivors include 3 children, Michael “Mike” (Bev) Wilges, Lima, Pamela “Pam” (Tom) Ramsey, Hampstead, NC, Jon (Kristine) Wilges, Wapakoneta; 7 grandchild­ren, Amy (Dana) Heitkamp, Jennifer (Dan) Conley, Seth (Kelly) Ramsey, Rachel (Jerod) Richardson, Shane (Morgan) Ramsey, Alyssa (Luke) Kelley, Blaine Wilges, 2 step grandchild­ren, Jessica (Dustin) Wireman, Jordyn Nuss; 11 great grandchild­ren, Taylor (Ben) Naas, Bryce & Emma Conley, Braden (Sydney) Heitkamp, Garret, & Lucas Heitkamp, Brynn & Riley Kelley, Blake & Drew Ramsey, Ellie Richardson; step-great grandchild, Riley Mcvicker; 2 great great grandsons, Beckham & Camden Naas; sisterin-law, Sharon Wilges, Buckland. She was preceded in death by a step-granddaugh­ter, Kelli Nuss, and a sister, Janet Hilty.

Lois was a homemaker. She was a member of the Buckland United Church of Christ, and a graduate of St. Joseph High School. She enjoyed baking, and was well known for her brown sugar oatmeal cookies and chocolate chip cookies.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Thurs. Sept. 21, 2023, at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta, with Pastor Kent
