WANTED: Stories of Community Progress

- Thank You, Adam Parsons Editor, Wapakoneta Daily News

We at the Wapakoneta Daily News are hoping everyone is having a happy new year, with high hopes to make a change for the better.

In an effort to document these positive changes over the past year, and all the things starting for this year, we’re getting ready for the 2024 Progress Edition, with this year’s theme being “The Year of Change” The Leader will chronicle the biggest changes within the community last year, or what people are planning to change within the coming year, to see where the community is starting at for this year. We are currently coming up with ideas, focusing on various aspects like education, government, agriculture and business at this time.

The Wapakoneta Daily News is inviting local organizations/ businesses to share with us what kind of change you’ve done/plan on doing for the year 2024. It’s encouraged to reach out by contacting us at the email address below so we can highlight how

2023 came and went, what your plans for the future are, and anything else you’d like to share with your fellow reader. Pictures are also welcome and are even encouraged to be put in for the special edition.

Businesses looking to advertise within Progress are also welcome. Advertising within the special section is a good way to reach out to our thousands of readers, both old and new. The plan is to have the Progress editions out on Feb. 20, Feb. 21 and Feb. 22, with a deadline for editorial content being Feb. 9.

Information can be either forwarded to graphics@wapakwdn.com, or send it to our mailing address at 520 Industrial Dr., Wapakoneta, OH, 45895. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
