Senior Center Offers A Lot

-

Linda and her " Cool Elders" at the Prairie Grove Senior Center want to thank Arvest Bank for its gift of baskets to our home deliveries and the plate of cookies for our center. It is so much appreciated.

I want to introduce each one of you seniors (and the ones to become seniors ) to all the activities we have to offer — even after you get off from your work.

First, is our chair exercises from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Monday and Wednesday mornings.

This is very good for those of us who have problems with exhausting exercises. You'll like them as I do.

Then at noon we have walking with Julia on the trail.

We have Zumba classes from 4 to 5 p.m. on Monday. There is a $5 charge per session. Taisa Akey is a certified instructor. All ages are welcome to participate with us.

Pilate

classes

are

held from 4 to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays. There is a $5 charge. This is an endurance class with extra focus on the tired body, stiff joints and weak core muscles. Please tell a friend and sign up. Ana Maria is a qualified instructor.

We offer exercises from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. each Friday morning and then we have Bingo from 10 to 11 a.m. We have new cards which were donated by Arvest Bank.

Our lunches are served at 11 a.m. Come join us and bring a buddy. We ask for a donation of $3. We'll be looking for you. Today's quote: People want the front of the bus, the back of the church and the center of attention.
