Lincoln Senior Center

- SHIRLEY METZGER Center Reporter SHIRLEY METZGER IS THE LINCOLN SENIOR CENTER REPORTER.

Cleanup day at Fall Creek Cemetery in Strickler will be held on April 28. Anyone wishing to help should arrive at the cemetery by 8 a.m. To make a donation at Arvest Bank, ask to donate to the “Fall Creek Cemetery at Strickler, Ark. account.” There will be a business meeting following cleanup.

We are having a busy time here at the center. At this writing, everyone is getting ready for the yard sale. What a job that is but so much fun and good fellowship.

Tomorrow, Thursday, April 26, we are taking another trip to Crystal Bridges. Some didn’t get to go the last time and others wanted an extended visit so off we go again. We leave at 9:30 a.m. Be sure to get your name on the list if you would like to go. On Friday at 9:30 a.m., we leave for the Dogwood Festival in Siloam Springs. So again get your name on the list.

May 2 we will have a speaker on Foot Care for Diabetics, so you may be interested in that, especially if you are diabetic. Taking care of our feet is a very necessary thing to do. Hope to see you here for that.

May 8, Prairie Grove will be here to play beanbag baseball at 10 a.m., so come on down and take part in the cheering section, and you may even sign up to play.

And of course the regular activities continue daily with group exercises on Tuesday and Thursday at 10 a.m., as well as other great things going on.
