Washington County Enterprise-Leader
Emergency Preparedness Class Set For June 14
Remember our first “Preppers” class will be June 14 at 7 p.m. for those of you who have already signed up. If you are interested in emergency preparedness, we are taking names for a second class. Call us to put you on the list.
I will get a June calendar for you as soon as it gets posted to let you know about all our events for the summer of 2012.
I do know that “Dream Big” is the title for the Washington County Library System Summer Program. Grades K-4 are invited, and you can call 479-442-6253 for more information. We will also have a " Dream Journaling Workshop" for fifth grade and up, but you must get signed up as soon as possible for the limited space available. Come by to pre-register or email Sherry Rodgers at sherry@wcls.lib. ar.us.
We will have new movie releases for you every month, so don't forget us when the weather gets hot and you and your family go inside to cool off. Recently, I watched a movie called “The Way,” staring Martin Sheen and Emilo Estevez. It was rated PG-13 and got four and a half stars out of five on Amazon. com. I loved it and feel anyone who enjoys hiking, travel, beautiful scenery and meeting interesting people should see this movie.
As always all our items are free and can be checked out for two weeks — even our fishing poles. Our new PlayStation games are only one week though.
