Friends Of The Lincoln Library Meeting July 17

- DIANNA PAYNE Assistant Librarian DIANNA PAYNE IS ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN AT LINCOLN PUBLIC LIBRARY

Hello everyone! By the time you read this we are all off for the Fourth of July holiday, so the library will be closed on that day. As of right now there is a ban on the fireworks, it’s too dry! It may be sad for the kids, but "better safe than sorry."

I watched a great movie with my granddaughters last night, "Mirror, Mirror" with Julia Roberts. It was outstanding and has approval from the Focus on The Family people. It was a funny movie that made Andra and I laugh out loud. The special effects were good, and it was so great to watch it with the girls. I loved it and believe its a keeper.

Our calendar for July is developing as you are reading.

Right now Game Night will be on July 10 at 6: 30 p. m., and we have a special Summer Reading Program on Wednesday, July 11.

Mad Science is the title with a special speaker coming to the Community Building ( the building in the center of the square) for all the kids. So far we have been averaging about 100 children; that’s why we meet in the community building. It has more space. Everyone has been having a great time, so please come join us if you can at 10 a.m. on Wednesday July 11.

Advanced Crochet will meet on Tuesday, July 17 at 5:30 p.m. and the Friends of the Lincoln Library will meet on Thursday, July 19 at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Story Time is every Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Stop by and see us!
