Carol Ann Elliott

FARMINGTON — Carol Ann Elliott, 63, a resident of Farmington, passed away June 25, 2012, at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayettevil­le. She was born March 26, 1949, in Fayettevil­le, the daughter of Roy Lee Bond and Linda Ann Masters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Elliott; and her father, Roy Lee Bond.

Survivors include one son, Brett Ray Taylor and wife, Christy Jean, of Farmington, Ark.; two grandchild­ren, Jessa Rae Taylor and Holden Wayne Taylor; and her mother, Linda Masters of Farmington.

Family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6-7 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral service was held Friday, June 29, 2012, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial followed in Farmington Cemetery.

Euna O. Winkler

HARRISON — Euna O. Winkler, 88, a resident of Harrison, passed away June 26, 2012, in Harrison. She was born Sept. 28, 1923, in Cincinnati, Ark., the daughter of William Calvin and Osa Mable Hicks Edwards.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer, in 1997; her parents; two brothers, Hallic and Alfred Edwards; one sister, Eula Parrish; and one great-grandchild.

Survivors include two daughters, Charolette Barnard and her husband, Raymond, of Western Grove, Ark., and Betty Barnard and her husband, Darrell, of Valley Springs, Ark.; one brother, Harvey Edwards, of Siloam Springs, Ark.; four grandchild­ren, Sherry Smith and husband, Keith, Bryan Barnard and wife, Celie, Scott Barnard and wife, Melissa, and Nathan Barnard and his wife, Monica; 11 great-grandchild­ren; one great-great-grandchild.

A funeral service was held Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Luginbuel Chapel. Burial was in Bethesda Cemetery near Morrow, Ark.

Dorcas Stephens

PRAIRIE GROVE — Dorcas Stephens, 67, of Prairie Grove, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012, in Prairie Grove.

She was born Feb. 2, 1945, in Winslow, the daughter of Presley and Thelma Henson Stephens.

She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Michael Jay Curry; siblings, Thurlo Haskle Stephens, Imaletta Jackson, Hazel Kaleiwahea, Arlie Verle Stephens, Imogene Huddleston, Lindle Glenn Stephens and Nelda Idella Leeders.

Survivors include two sons, Steve Curry of Bella Vista; four daughters, Kim Wood and husband, Tom, of Watts, Okla., Marcina Wheeler of Prairie Grove, Kerri Booth and husband, Dave, of Fayettevil­le, and Lisa Overton of Anchorage, Alaska; six siblings, LaVada Juanita Hall of Snyder, Texas, Edna Opal Dotson of Chehalis, Wash., Lonnie Dee Stephens of Springdale, Ark., Larry Roger Stephens of Farmington, Presley Loman Stephens and Cheryl Rahn of Fayettevil­le, Ark.; nine grandchild­ren; and four great-grandchild­ren.

Funeral services were Monday, July 2, 2012, at Beard’s Funeral Chapel in Fayettevil­le, with Pastor Jackie Uselton off ciating. Burial was in Coyle Cemetery.

Visitation was July 12 at the funeral home.

Ed Jester

FAYETTEVIL­LE — Ed Jester, age 61, of Fayettevil­le, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayettevil­le.

Ed was born on Feb. 8, 1951, in Kansas City, Kan., to Harold Lloyd Jester and Geneveive Kritzer.

Ed served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and received an honorable discharge. Ed enjoyed the outdoors, camping and shing and spending time with his family and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents; and one granddaugh­ter, Payton Jester; Ed is survived by his two sons, Jason Jester and his wife, Lindsay, of Farmington, Jordon Jester of Fayettevil­le; one brother, Bill Jester of Kansas; one granddaugh­ter, Avry Jester of Fayettevil­le; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Interment ceremonies were Monday, July 2, 2012, at the Fayettevil­le National Cemetery in Fayettevil­le, Ark., with military honors performed by the U.S. Marine Corps.
