Lawn Mowers Are Back In Action
HOPING FORECASTS OF RAIN, THUNDERSTORMS ARE FACT
Isn’t it great to see all the many lawn mowers in action? And I’m sure no one is complaining. I was concerned that my bluegrass might be dead, because I’ve never seen it so brown, even in other dry summers; but with even the small amount of rain we have received (1.5 inches) it has begun to grow and is a beautiful sight. I’m mowing the lawn this week — first time in four months. I decided to leave the bluegrass and let it grow a little longer. So much beauty to be thankful for.
We keep hoping that those forecasts of rain and thunderstorms will really become fact.
It’s been said, “You don’t stop laughing when you die, you die when you stop laughing.” So, some smiles.
A lady called 911 on her cell phone to report that her car had been broken into. Hysterical, she explained to the dispatchers: “They’ve stolen the stereo, the steering wheel, the brake pedal and even the accelerator!” The dispatcher said, “Stay calm. An officer is on the way.”
