Gary Morrow

Gary Morrow, 53, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, in Siloam Springs. He was born Aug. 29, 1959, in Fayettevil­le, Ark., to Keith and Sylvaleen (Long) Morrow.

He served his country in the Arkansas Army National Guard. He enjoyed hunting, shing, and bull riding.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maryann; and his father.

Survivors include his mother, Sylvaleen Happy and her husband John of Siloam Springs; a brother, Richard Morrow of Lincoln, Ark.; a sister, Linda Gutierrez and her husband Ken of Siloam Springs; a stepbrothe­r, John Andrew Happy of Prairie Grove; a stepsister, Mandy Finklea and her husband Todd of Prairie Grove; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Graveside services were Sept. 28 at Bethesda Cemetery in Morrow, Ark., with the Rev. Michael Willett.

Roy William Sybrant

Roy William Sybrant, 86, of Prairie Grove, Ark., died Sept. 25, 2012. He was born Jan. 5, 1926, in Jose, Neb., to Henry and Freda Sybrant.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked for many years as an electricia­n. He was a member of the Church of God Seventh Day. He enjoyed attending auctions and was also known for riding his bike, which he did well into his 80s.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Jane Moore and Zelda Allen.

Survivors include his wife, Laura Sybrant of Prairie Grove; three sons, Arthur Sybrant and wife Sheila, Douglas Sybrant and wife Cheryl, and James Sybrant; three daughters, Annette “Annie” Meaders and husband Mick, Freda Wilson and husband Tommy, Dora Johnson and husband Jim; 10 grandchild­ren; four greatgrand­children; and two nephews.

Graveside funeral services were Friday, Sept. 28 at Fall Creek Cemetery in Strickler, Ark.

Harold Dean Calico

Harold Dean Calico, 71, of Farmington, Ark., died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012 at his home. He was born Feb. 12, 1941, in Huntsville, Ark., to Cuba Lillian George and Dean Ross Calico.

He was a lifetime resident of Northwest Arkansas. He enjoyed hunting and shing. He was employed with Brown’s Drywall and West Tree Service for many years.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and a grandchild.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Mary Maria Dash Calico, whom he married in 1959; two brothers, “Bo” Charles Elmer and “Tug” Earl William, both of Springdale; a sister, Pearly May Rogers, of Lincoln; ve children, “Jeri” Geraldine Ann of Fayettevil­le, Harold Dean Jr. of Prairie Grove, Justin B. of Springdale, Shirley Ruth of California, and Cuba Melissa of Farmington; seven grandchild­ren; and four great-grandchild­ren.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date by the family.

JoAnn McCash

JoAnn McCash, 72, of Farmington, Ark., died Sept. 28, 2012, at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayettevil­le, Ark. She was born June 17, 1940, in Ethridge, Tenn., to Johnnie and Joyce Baker Dooley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward McCash; a grandson, C.J. Wessel; and a brother, Terry Dooley.

Survivors include six children, Susan Stewart, Marcus McCash, Jonni Miller, Douglas McCash, Matthew McCash, and David McCash; a brother, Anthony Dooley; 28 grandchild­ren with one on the way; and 17 great-grandchild­ren with one on the way.

Funeral services were Oct. 1 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Prairie Grove.

Burial was in the Farmington Cemetery.
